What is the SquatSaddle for?

The SquatSaddle was originally designed to replace the old-fashioned, vinyl-wrapped pad on the popular Transformer bar but has evolved to be so much more.

The SquatSaddle makes squats and lunges using a regular barbell, smart home gym, or Smith machine far more comfortable. It can also be combined with our S3 Harness to work with cables, functional trainers, and even pull sleds.

The SquatSaddle also pairs perfectly with the all-new StrapBar

Why is the SquatSaddle better than other squat pads?

The SquatSaddle is manufactured using Abmat's industry-leading, proprietary molded foam technology for ultimate performance.

Its solid foam design is easy to clean and durable, offering superior comfort and support.

The SquatSaddle is also incredibly versatile. It is compatible with any straight bar and can be used with our S3 Harness system and countless machines, making it the must-have leg day accessory.

Which barbells will the SquatSaddle fit?

The SquatSaddle will fit any standard-size straight barbell and straight cable attachment, as well as all versions of the Transformer bar, 1 - 4.

It will also fit any SSB with handles ~1.25" in diameter and 12.50” apart when measured in the center. Please note that the length and shape of the handles on every SSB vary, which may affect how well the molded SquatSaddle fits any particular bar.
